World Trade Centre Goa, today celebrated “Engineers Day”. This day is the birth day of the Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya. He initiated the entry of World Trade Centre, in India, enabling the international business to prosper.
On this occasion Engineer Anil Counto, Chairman of Alcon Anil Counto Enterprise, while speaking on the occasion, said that “there is no short cut to success and the new generation of engineers should strive at hard work and should strive working hard with dedication, to achieve their goals”. He said that innovation was the key and advised the new generation to take up entrepreneurship, as there are many opportunities today lying before them. He said that WTC Goa was doing a good work in promoting international business and making available a platform for the Goan entrepreneurs to market their products. He promised all the help from his side.
Mr. Manguirish Pai Raikar, Advisor – World Trade Centre Goa while speaking, said that in one year World Trade Centre Goa has tried to build the bridges of export business by holding several meetings with the international business partners and also conducting seminars, awareness programs to educate the business fraternity. He also said that it was the endeavor of this organization to promote international trade and commerce and build permanent relationship all over the world. Technocrats are the architects of Modern India. The words and the work of Sir M. Visvesvaraya,would inspire them and they should walk on the paths laid down by our visionary predecessors.
